I am a regular and friend of the owners. Have been going here for years. They have the best service which is the #1 thing, they are happy to have you and serve you. Everything is fresh #2, they have their own farm and butcher so everything is fresh and healthy to eat. #3 is they don't skimp out, good shawarma should be ripping apart and that's just how they make it. Hands down the best shawarma place in Ottawa
3.1? Are you kidding me? I have never seen a better shawarma place. First of all, the folks working there are very happy to have you. For me, that is always key.Second: The lamb kabob is deadly good. They cook it over a wood fire for you, on the spot. When topping a shawarma, they don't skimp you as though the world has run out of pickles and turnip. They are very generous, unlike the other pickle and turnip lords. Third: Then add the hot garlic if you are feeling spicy, and you have a shawarma or kabob far superior to others.Head here for wood fired meats, excellent portions and quality. When I lived a walk away, this place was the only thing on the mind.Meow.
First time I visited Ozzy Foods, I was reluctant to order my first shawarma platter. My friends have been frequently eating at the restaurant and have been constantly encouraging me to try it out. Finally I decided that I was going to test their exotic traditional foods. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and was surprised to see that the platter was enough to feed two people. The rice, salad, hummus, garlic and chicken were amazing! So juicy! The chicken was perfection! The service was amazing and the restaurant was spotless. The restrooms decorated with the finest art with glorious colors. If you have not already tried the restaurant out, I would very much recommend you do! Its well worth the drive and the price!
